Description:
In 2024, the U.S. Collective Giving Landscape Research report revealed that the number of Giving Circles tripled between 2007 and 2016 — and then tripled again between 2016 and 2023. Today, it’s estimated that 370,000+ people have been engaged in Giving Circles and collectively raised more than $3 billion in philanthropic funding. Given the movement is now considered the fastest-growing form of philanthropy and is on a trajectory to double again in the next five years — what’s your nonprofit’s Giving Circle strategy?
Join Emily Rasmussen, the Founder & CEO of Grapevine to be guided through how your organization can leverage this community-led model of philanthropy to grow your awareness, donor base, recurring contributions, and impact.
Why you should attend: Just 2% of new donations to nonprofits on average are set up to recur, compared to more than 50% of new donations to Giving Circles on Grapevine are setup to recur.
Grapevine is the only platform dedicated to Giving Circles. We help people to connect with other like-minded people, pool their donations, discover nonprofits, and decide together where to give. From grassroots groups like Reno Women for Good and Black Trans Lives Thrive, to nonprofit-led groups by MercyCorps, Newman’s Own Foundation, Fabscrap, and more, Grapevine has helped direct $50M to more than 7,000 small, local nonprofits across the country.
